U.S. WW II M-1943 Intrenching Shovel

Folding shovel with dark OD green painted finish and marked with “U.S. AMES-1945”, shovel has 2nd coat of dark OD green painted finish and shows some wear and age. Wood handle also has 2nd coat of the dark OD green painted finish, this also shows some wear but wood is nice, the 2nd coat is all military paint. The carrier is made of dark OD green canvas and is marked with “U.S.” on front with maker and 1945 dated on backside of flap, carrier shows only light wear with some light age. Overall set is nice.
