M16 Pattern U.S. Leather Holster

For M1911 .45 caliber auto. pistol. Could be for private purchase for Officer or general public. Holster has black finish and has no markings of any type. Looks like it could be made anytime between 1916 & 1950’s. Overall show wear with age.
