Police Gendarmerie Meister Service Tunic

Pre 1942 tunic with light brown wool collar and cuffs piped in orange, with orange piping down front and on rear tail flaps also. Tunic has two patch pleated breast pockets with two lower patch pockets without pleats with eight button front with sliver aluminum pebbled buttons. Collar tabs have silver flat wire Litzen on orange with silver twisted piping around each, tabs are machine sewn to collar. Shoulder boards are the sewn in type, silver and brown twisted braid with orange underlay. Sleeve eagle is machine woven in orange with black swastika on police green wool with town name in orange, eagle is hand sewn to sleeve. Tunic has loops for ribbon bar and one badge. Inside is lined with a light greyish cotton material with one inside breast pocket with the two tail flap pockets, also has slit for edge weapon hanger. Overall very fine tunic with light wartime age and wear. Exc. + $1000.00
