Police Administrative Oberleutnant Service Tunic

Tunic is made of light bluish green police wool with dark brown collar and cuffs with light grey wool piping around collar and cuffs with light grey piping down front and also on back tail flaps. Tunic has two patch pleated breast pocket and two lower pockets than are patch type without pleats. Tunic has eight button front with silver aluminum pebbled buttons. Collar tabs are hand embroidered in bright silver aluminum wire on light grey and are machine sewn to collar, shoulder boards are the sewn in type with bright silver aluminum braid with one gold rank pip on each with red secondary color piping of red with light grey on bottom for Pol-Sekretar. Sleeve eagle is very fine quality and hand embroidered in silver aluminum bullion wire on police bluish green wool. Tunic has loops for ribbon bar and one badge. The inside is lined with light brownish silk rayon material with one inside breast pocket with two tail pockets, also has silt for edge weapon and inside waist belt. Has nice quality tailors tag with owners name in pocket and dated 1941. Overall very high quality tunic but has some moth problems, still tunic looks very nice and displays very nice. Has moth tracking with some minor small pin head type holes, most of the damage is on the shoulder boards and on the back side of the collar, they liked the soft wool felt on the back side of the collar. The light grey piping on the tunic has no real problems. This tunic would have been worth $1500 without the moth problems, still it is a great looking rare Police Tunic. Low Exc. $1000.00 VERY RARE
