Reichsbahn Officials Tunic

German Railway Tunic made of late war quality dark blue wool, with two patch pleated breast pockets with two lower slashed hip pockets with flaps. Button are the pebbled type with gold painted finish, tunic has six button front. Collar tabs are gold on black bevo weave pattern with gold and black piping around edge, tabs are hand sewn to collar, for pay grades 11 thru 8 and 7a. Shoulder boards are the sewn in type, and are made of gold bullion wire with dark blue interwoven dark blue “V’s on the outer edge with dark blue center with interwoven gold “V’s with red wool underlay, Has War Merit 2nd Class ribbon in second button hole with loops for one badge on pocket. Inside is lined with black silk rayon type material with two inside breast pockets with two lower tail pockets. Tunic has nice sleeve eagle on left sleeve with gold eagle and swastika with RBD Kassel, bevo type weave and hand sewn to sleeve. Overall nice large tunic with light wear and age. Exc. + $800.00 RARE
