German WW II Postal Officials Visor Hat

Hat is made of dark blue wool with orange wool piping around top edge with orange piped dark blue velvet band. Eagle and the postal wreath have matt silver aluminum finish with black leather chinstrap and black fiber visor. The inside is lined with the orange brown oil cloth material, also has no plastic sweat diamond and never did, the sweat band is also made of the oil cloth material with light brown color, has no size marking but looks about size 55, has owner name in ink on back side of sweat band. The HJ & BDM also used the cap when they worked with the postal system. Overall nice but does show some age and wear. Exc. $300.00
