Luftwaffe Named FLAK Troops NCO/EM Visor Hat

Hat has blue grey wip cord type wool stop with red wool piping around top edge with black ribbed mohair wool band piped in red. Eagle is the drop tail 1st pattern made of stamped aluminum, wreath is the same. Visor is the Luftwaffe pattern, made of black fiber with light green on the backside, the chinstrap is made of black leather. The inside is lined with the orange brown cotton linen material with plastic sweat diamond with maker printed under the sweat shield in gold and dated 1938, has owners name in name slot, the gold print in the maker name has tarnished, also marked with ink stamped size 54-1/2. Sweat band is the heavy paper type with grey finish, this has torn in several places but all there. Overall nice looking hat, there were some moth nips on the top that have been repaired but look fine, and do not show up that much, the front of the hat looks fine and would display nice. Exc. $665.00
