Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet

Medium blue grey rough finish is very nice with only light wartime wear and age, finish looks 90% with some light scoffs, the two front pins have lost some of the finish, but all three are nice and tight, the decal does shows some wear but still it looks about 80% or better. The inside looks nice with some light wear to the leather liner, color of leather is nice with some wear to the top edge, just a little dire, and the leather is stamped with size 53, missing the drawstring. The chinstrap shows some age and could use some leather care on it, but it looks sound and marked with maker and dated 1943. Liner band is steel, cannot make out any markings as it is nice and tight. Shell is marked "Q60" lot number is "DN127". Overall helmet shows only light wartime field wear, with the small size it could have been used by the Hitler Youth. Exc. + $1150.00
