Army Winter Fur Field Cap

Cap body is made of grey green issue quality wool with brown rabbit ear flaps. Front has two piece cloth eagle and cockade hand sewn into the rabbit fur, both eagle and cockade are bevo type weave, the eagle is grey on grey green and the cockade is grey green backed. The fur shows some field wear and age. Inside is lined with the grey ribbed cotton material and it is padded, has marking but hard to make anything out due to hair oil stains, looks about size 56/57. Overall shows wartime field wear and age. These are hard to find that show field wear, most I seen over years were unused. Exc. $400.00 $375.00
