German WW II M31 Canteen
Alumi canteen with brownish wool felt cover with leather straps with black finish. The canteen and cap are maker marked G&CL with 40 date. The cup is made of alumi and is missing 90 % of the grey green finish, cup is unmarked but has owners name on top. Overall canteen shows a lot of wartime field wear with some age, cover has some worn spots with several holes, plus canteen is dirty, may clean up some. Overall show heavy wartime wear with age, still looks in sound condition, but with age should always be careful with the leather straps, they are fragile after 65 years.
