98K Bayonet by "BERG & CO." Mismatched with Leather Frog

Bayonet has dark brown bakelite grips with Waffenamts on hilt, bluing is weak on the hilt but metal is nice. Blade has nice blued finish and has not been sharpened and marked with ser. Number 9356 with letter d with maker on other side "BERG & CO." with 40 date on spine. Scabbard has nice blued finish but does show some age but still finish is nice, may need light cleaning, there are several little dings in the metal on the back side. The black leather frog is unmarked, frog is worn but in sound condition, could use some polish. Overall nice looking WW II German bayonet, common for numbers to be mismatched, just shows normal wartime wear and age. Exc. + $200.00
