Vietnam Period "AIRBORNE" M-1 Helmet Liner

Liner has dark smooth OD Painted finish. Liner shows some wear and age and has a very small crack near front, the leather chinstrap cover most of this, SEE "Multi-View" photos. The inside is dusty and the webbing is dark OD and it is missing the head band and the neck band, the "A" frame webbing is like the WW II models, it is made into the liner web suspension and not independently riveted in place. The brown leather chinstrap shows some light age and wear and has the black painted buckle. Liner is marked in the top and I cannot make it out, might can be with photo. The metal hardware on the webbing has some surface rust, this may clean up OK. Overall nice and needs cleaning. Exc. $45.00
