German Border Customs Officials Sleeve Shield
Made of stamped aluminum with gold plated finish. Oval shield is about 3-1/4 inches high and about 2-3/4 inches wide. Has large eagle and swastika in center with number 26986 below in black. Marked above eagle "Reichsfinanzverwaltung-Zollgrenzschutz". Shield was sewn to sleeve or armband. Shows light age and wear.
