German Volunteer Fire Brigade Service Tunic

Tunic is made of dark blue wool with eight button front with two patched pleated breast pockets with two slower slashed hip pockets with flaps, all buttons are the smooth silver type. Collar tabs are made of carmine pink velvet with black piping around the edge of the tabs. Shoulder boards are the slip on type with carmine pink and silver braid with carmine pink underlay for rank of Wachtmeister. Tunic has nice quality machine woven in carmine pink Fire Service Sleeve Eagle with town name on left sleeve and also has loops for one badge on breast pocket. The inside is lined with black smooth linen material with owner name on small white tag, also as one inside pocket. Overall shows light wartime field wear with light age. Exc + $525.00 RARE
