M16/17 Army Single Decal Transitional Helmet

Dark grey green rough finish looks about 75% Plus and decal looks about 70% plus, outside finish shows medium wartime field wear and age. Inside is nice, leather liner in sound condition with drawstring, the leather liner has had some leather conditioner put on it but looks OK, color of leather still has brown color. Metal helmet band is made of aluminum and looks to be 1938 dated and marked size 56.The leather chinstrap shows wear and age but in sound condition and is Rbnr marked. Helmet shell is stamped "St.Br." I see no other markings. Overall shows wartime field wear with some light age, nice looking helmet. Exc. + $1000.00
