WW I German M17 "Stick Grenade"

Metal head has grey green finish with black band painted at bottom edge, also in white letter it is marked "Vor Gebrauch Sprengkapsel Einsetzen" the finish is worn but you make it out, with metal belt clip. The wood handle is nice and marked "5-1/2 Sek-K.J.P." also marked but not that clear with what look like 1918 date with other numbers. Has the string and ball with screw off cap but missing the bottom half of the cap. The head is frozen and will not screw off, maybe with some oil it would come off. Overall very nice.
