Portepee strap is about 7-3/4 inches long, acorn and steam is about 1-1/2 inches. Made of silver plated braid, not aluminum wire type braid. Has red material inside bottom of acorn. Overall very nice with some wear and age. Exc. + $50.00. Do not know what edge weapon this is for, could be for Miniature Army Dagger ??
